This notice explains what information this website handles and what AY Detailing does with it. We keep it deliberately short because the site itself is simple.

What this website collects

The website is a set of static pages. It does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it does not set cookies. Nothing you type into the quote form is sent to or stored on our servers.

The quote configurator keeps your progress in your own browser's storage so the form survives a refresh. That information stays on your device; it is not transmitted anywhere by the website, and you can remove it by clearing your browser data.

When you get in touch

When you use the quote form, the website composes a message from your answers and hands it to your own email app, or copies it to your clipboard, for you to send. If you call or email us, we receive the details you choose to give us – typically your name, contact details, your vehicle and what you would like done.

We use that information only to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out and follow up the work. We do not sell it or share it with third parties for marketing.

Hosting

The site is hosted by IONOS. Like most web servers, the hosting keeps standard technical logs – such as the address a request came from, the page requested and the time – for security and to keep the service running.

Links to other services

Phone and email links open the app you have set up for calls or email. Those services have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us at aydetailing@outlook.com. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

If the website starts doing anything different, this page will be updated first.
